The American Car and Foundry CenterFlow covered hopper was available in several configurations and Missouri Pacific purchased large a large number of 2-bay and 3-bay versions. For accounting purposes, ownership of these cars was divided between MP, TP and C&EI. This model represents one of the 2-bay versions with TP reporting marks.
